Credit sytem reset, and new changes to improve the websites
I have pretty much been away for about 3 years, but now I am back and will be working hard to make the websites better. Details of major changes are below:
1. The credit system has been reset. I apologize for having to do this. Over the years, there have been too many database corruptions, wrongly giving numerous members millions of credits. If you were wondering why hits were being sent slowly, this was the reason.
To prevent this from ever happening again, these are the new rules:
a. An account can only have a maximum of about 8,000 credits.
b. When a member has more than 1,000 credits, the member must have 1 or more sites with ACTIVE status. Otherwise, the member will be temporarily blocked from surfing and not earn from referrals until the member have at least 1 active site.
Also, the script has been updated with more security measures, which will help me track down problems with the database.
2. Coming soon. Three membership levels:
Free Member 2:1 ratio
Silver Member 5:4 ratio
Gold Member 1:1 ratio
3. Cleaning up sites for better surfing experience.
Websites not allowed in rotation: framebreakers, hidden iframes or numerous iframes, malware (such as virus, trojan horse, etc.), adult-only contents, illegal activities, and dialog prompts (such as a message box asking if visitor want to navigate away from a page).
If you have a site that does the above, please remove it as soon as possible.
4. Better surfing experience
Again, I apologize for having to reset the credit system.
If we can look on the bright side, these new changes will immediately fix the credit system, deliver hits fast again, and allow us to continue running SoarSurf, BounSurf, KeenSurf, and GenSurf for years to come.
